Matthew Polenzani live at the Verbier Festival

The first time I've ever heard tenor Matthew Polenzani was ending 2004 at my friend's apartment Lucy Arner in New York, where I did copy her disc with one of those devices that made it in real time. Years later I could invite him for a recital in Telde with Julius Drake. Matthew's voice is not "espectacular" like Pavarotti's, Corelli's, Bergonzi's... but what makes him special, very unique, is the way he sings: sensitive, exquisite, passionate.
